To start Zope, "cd" into to the directory in which you installed Zope and invoke the shell script named "start". Here is an example of this invocation and its typical output:
chrism@saints:~$ cd Zope-2.5.1-linux2-x86
chrism@saints:~/Zope-2.5.1-linux2-x86$ ./start
------
2002-06-28T03:17:02 INFO(0) ZODB Opening database for mounting: '142168464_1025234222.179125'

Zope, installed as a source distribution into /usr/local/zope, has no such 'start' script.

Zope, from a source distribution is installed into /opt/Zope-2.7 and the instance directory is in
/opt/Zope-2.7/skel but I cannot find the 'start' or 'run' sript in it
Sprawdziłem, nie ma czegoś takiego jak start.Podpisuję się pod tym 
. Zope może i byłoby fajne, ale kompletnie nie mam pojęcia jak się tego nauczyć :/

This doesn't help me to have _any_ confidence in Zope if this page is taking 10 months of comments to fix a

zope+plone to jest dramatycznie zle. na samym poczatku jabberpl na tym chdodzilo. jeden gosc odwiedzajacy strone zzeral 300-450 MB
